I hope Lower Township schools don't give the house away with the upcoming teachers contract. If you go to DataUniverse of Asbury Park Press and look up salaries of teachers and maintenance salaries you will be shocked. Also, when you look at their pensions, and in some cases, benefits for life and retirements at a young age, you will see why your taxes are high. This is for working 10 months with many paid days off during the school year. Let's hope they look out for the taxpayer. We already have to pay for the bond referendum.
