Help a Horse Day is April 26. ASPCA encourages events to be held on behalf of horses throughout the country. It is a good day to consider whether or not you can offer a horse a safe place. Each year, thousands of race horses no longer wanted by families are driven, in cruel conditions, out of the country to be slaughtered for food. Support organizations and people who have room in their corrals.
