A NJ police officer told me recently that now when they write a ticket for no car insurance this is what happens: When the violator comes to court and shows that since their car stop they have purchased insurance the no insurance ticket is dismissed. That is unfair to the rest of us who buy insurance for our vehicles as we are supposed to do by law.
