To all the penny-pinchers advocating "out-sourcing" of the lowest paid jobs in the school districts, do the math. It is not these local employees driving up your taxes. Their salaries are the lowest in the districts. It's the administrative and union contracts, and it's the state and federal requirements determining the school budgets. Bring in cleaning and food services and concern for your child's welfare is gone. These local district employees are the folks who keep your kids safe and happy. I am not a school district employee. Don't throw out the baby with the bathwater!
