As a good, Catholic family, we attended mass on Easter at St. John of God in N. Cape May. It was very surprising that our church had only one Easter morning mass! We arrived 15 minutes early. The church was already packed. We had to stand, which wouldn't have been so bad, but we had little children who had to be held through the mass. There were people standing in the vestibule, many of those around us ended up leaving. Then a long homily, long Eucharistic prayer, and no extra communion stations, making the mass very long. And the church wonders why it is losing the faithful.
