As a taxpaying, full-time resident of the borough, I was very surprised to see that an employee is allowed to bring their dog to work everyday. It is not a service dog so why is this permitted? Does the mayor and council condone this? Are all employees allowed to bring their pets to work? What if the dog bites someone, is the borough's liability insurance going to cover that? What if visitors to the municipal building are allergic to dogs? I can think of a dozen more scenarios.
