The last 15 cops who were hired were fully paid for by a NJ State grant. So why are my taxes going up because of the police department? It has to be the new contract for the police chief. I think Commissioner Leonetti needs to realize he works for the taxpayers, not a chief who makes $175,000 and doesn't even live in town.
