The 'cancer' word is a devastating word for me. I overcame fear and combated, first arming myself with the latest, correct information to battle it, my family surrounded me every way possible to assist in the battle, I prayed extra hard, I focused on positive outcomes and then, found the best doctors to help me. That all happened in 2013 when I was diagnosed with Stage IV Ovarian cancer and was given six months to a year. Today, I am in remission because of best doctors, right treatments, patience and prayers from everyone, and my everyday started with a 'thank you' Jesus for another day!
