News reports are that the NJ Dept. of Environmental Protection and the NJ State Park Police have adopted a strict enforcement program (crackdown) regarding off-road riding activities in Wharton State Forest. This crackdown program needs to expand to the Beaver Swamp Wildlife Area in Dennis Township, which is overrun with illegal quads and dirt bikes. Even worse is that these same law-breaking riders endanger the public by riding on streets and highways (SH 83) directly to this nature preserve where they wreak their destruction.
