I deserve $15 an hour even though my required job skill level is so low my job doesn't exist in 48 out of 50 states. I pump gas. Why would anyone go through the hassle of improving themselves when they can quit school and make a living wage by simply opening a box and put the contents on a shelf at a retail store? The government is considering requiring businesses to pay workers $15 an hour. Can they also dictate to business owners what to charge for their goods and services in order to make a government-determined profit?
