To a NCM spouter who is for PARCC tests: The district will not lose state funding if students boycott the PARCC tests. If the parents stand together you can make your school exempt from the test. It is your Constitutional right. I would rather have my child spend more time learning math, reading, phonics, etc. than being taught to the test. These tests do not provide any statistical merit on a schools' performance. They show how well a student can take a test. Some students are not great test takers or are not well versed using a computer, these students will do poorly on the test.
