Mayor Troiano seems correct, according to a newspaper story, that several local employers, mostly out-of-town workers, have become the arbiters of which events should take place in town, which is, of course, the responsibility of the leaders, elected by voters. Is this similar to the national political scene featuring debates about the power of rich, entrenched interests, over our government?
