To the residents of West Wildwood, the bulkhead failed from the loose docks bashing against it for countless hours before it finally broke from the beating it took. Former Mayor Frederick is having you all believe that the bulkhead was installed incorrectly, that bulkhead has been hit by many storms including Sandy, which had docks bashing against it too. The area in question and all along Bay Ave. have taken a beating for many years of storms. Vinyl bulkheads will breach when debris smash against it for many hours, that section of Bay Ave. takes the worst beating during storms.
