To a Wildwood spouter who doesn't appear to understand displacement: All of that mud in the back bays that wasn't there years ago increases the water level in the back bays. To prove this point, get a glass of water, fill it to the brim, then dump a bunch of silt and sand in it. I guarantee you that the glass overflows.
