In response to the spouter who spoke of former Mayor Frederick's letter about the damaged bulkhead at the street end at Glenwood Avenue: I live on Bay Ave., and witnessed the damage that was done to the bulkhead there. Public works did saw down a portion of the bulkhead that failed during the Jonas storm. The work was started in the fall of 2001 and finished in the winter of 2002. Fox was mayor then and the patch was done poorly. Frederick had nothing to do with the demolition or the patch that followed.
