Our mayor and freeholder has pushed to get Sea Isle Blvd. raised and this will take six years. Sea Isle Blvd. has only been completely shutdown three times since 1941. We have had Sandy, and the Blvd. never flooded, two recent nor'easters, no flooding, but the mayor/freeholder is more concerned about Sea Isle Blvd. flooding and not the flooding in his city. And yes he will continue to get elected because people can't see through the trees. It is the current American way; incompetence wins every time.
