Is there anyone or any department to contact about a homeless project for our poor in Cape May County? It's a disgrace how we ignore our homeless. Allow them to freeze to death in the woods, go hungry. I hope you or none of your family members become homeless!
Moderator's Note: Try reaching out to Cape Hope, a community organization that seeks to provide warming centers and warm winter clothing to the homeless population in Cape May County. You may contact Cape Hope at 609-997-1794. Also, the county's Office of Emergency Management is responsible for a Code Blue declaration in the county. Once a declaration is made, individuals working with the homeless will be able to find them shelter from the cold.
