I would like to utilize Spout Off to praise the ability of ordinary citizens to use this format to make their voices heard in an unfiltered way. The Herald has done a fantastic job in covering the county now, and back in the days of the Lantern publication. There are some that would say that the voices that are printed in the Spout Off section of the paper each week are folks who are ill-informed and have an ax to grind. I would say that if you want to know what is going on in Cape May County read the Spout Off views. The politicians would not agree, but what would you expect from them?
