I made a comment online about Vietnam remembrance and being spit on in the airport. A woman commented about My Lai and the burned girl photo. She forgot about the villages wiped out by the VC, or the treatment of our POWs or the slaughter after we left in '75. How about the thousands of Vietnamese who endured horrors to flee to the U.S. War is hell and we conducted ourselves as honorably as warriors in any U.S. war. That lady must have been one of the ones spitting at us in the airport. I hope her friends and neighbors who are vets know how she feels.
