To an Ocean City spouter: Yes, I do live in a state that allows county involvement in place of local towns. However, my area relies very little on the county and instead chooses to privately contract for their services. Some services happen to be county run, others are not. The point is, the way these islands are run is extremely inefficient and has been costing the taxpayers a lot of money.
