With all the local news about a murder, convicts, and voucher motels in Middle Township and Wildwood, hopefully Eldora residents are paying close attention to the closed and dilapidated El Dorado motel on State Highway 47. I am hearing word on the street that business interests and real estate developers see this as a profitable enterprise with steady cash flow from social services. When this can of worms gets kicked down the road (as it surely will be), Dennis Township might be where this can comes to rest.
