It's a sad commentary on us as Americans that we accept lies, exaggerations, racism, insufficient knowledge, narcissism, bullying, and outlandish, embarrassing behavior in a candidate for the most important and dignified position in our country. I, for one, am shocked and ashamed in front of the rest of the world that Trump has gotten to this point. What can his supporters possibly be thinking, and how are they so blind to what is so blatantly obvious to the rest of us?
