The spouter criticizing a teacher embarrassed about a certain candidate's coarse statements said the Constitution incorrectly stated all students need to learn about politics is in the U.S. Constitution. There is no mention at all in it about politics or campaigns or candidates, since political parties did not exist when the Constitution was written. Presidential campaigns and elections make for excellent ways to teach civic education.
