Extending the parking meters through October is a disgrace. It penalizes the people who come to Sea Isle for the fall events. It is a tax on the full-time residents, but deservedly so since they elected the leadership who wants to extend the meters. If the city really needs the $20,000 they can probably raise it by freezing the salaries and benefits of city employees.
