On Thanksgiving weekend, there were signs wrapped around the parking meters clearly stating to move all vehicles by 5 p.m., yet at 4:30 Public Works was setting up the barricades for the parade and blocking people's cars in. The stores stayed open into the evening after the parade was over, but the public restrooms were locked.
