A North Wildwood spouter who says younger police officers may "be more impulsive in reacting to stressful situations and need careful monitoring and scrutiny, especially with the use of firearms" makes a lot of sense, but is the problem only with the young ones? I wonder if the psychological testing is intensive enough before people become police officers. Certain personalities just are not suited to a job that requires presence of mind and self-control in all stressful situations.
