What makes a Lower Township spouter think that a consolidated Lower Township Fire Department would have any more calls per station than they already do? Consolidation means better organization, and better and more logical response districts. It would in no way mean that every time there was a fire dispatch in the township that all of the volunteers township-wide would be sent. It would be a significant savings in duplication of certain apparatus equipment and services.
