This Assembly election had to be hard on the government workers. Their unions told them to vote for the Democrats and their CMC Republican organization, who gives out the jobs, wanted them to support the Republicans. Usually the government workers here support the Republicans without any angst. Maybe they will help support strengthening the CMC and local Democrat organizations now, so we can have some competition in candidates.
