Is it possible to enforce the leash law in North Wildwood, or at the very least, can we have responsible pet owners? As much as you think your unleashed dog(s) are in your control and will not hurt another lawful leashed dog, you really have no idea, and it is against the law! By you having your dogs unleashed, running on the beach, it deters responsible pet owners from enjoying our beaches as well. Why would someone think that is OK? Hopefully the gentlemen who had his two dogs running wild on the beach Nov. 5 will reconsider his actions next time!
