Recently, there have been lots of spouts criticizing the career firefighters in Wildwood, and even some about N.W. People who have never been firefighters, either volunteer or career, have no room to talk. All of the critics out there should realize that they are welcome to join one of the volunteer stations, or pass the civil service test and become a career firefighter. Volunteers are true, American heroes, but the demands have reduced the number. Career firefighters are worth every penny they are paid and deserve good benefits. Join up or hush up.
