I want to thank Public Works and the private animal control company that came out to rescue a possum on our block. Somehow a possum got his head and feet stuck in my neighbor's trashcan by eating through it. I called Public Works before they took the can and killed this poor little guy, and they contacted animal control who came over and somehow miraculously cut him out of the can! Thank you to our officials, Public Works and animal control who showed such compassion and care.
