I think that if Sloan and DeMarzo were to get elected in Wildwood, the island may have a better chance of consolidating the fire and police departments. The headcount is way too high for such a small island. Most of the people who live here in the winter have no clue what full-time fire and police headcounts are for towns with a 20,000 to 60,000 year-round population. They would be shocked.
