Crime is going up in our large cities because the cops are afraid to act. If they do anything to defend themselves, they fear being arrested by the very same government that expects them to take on the criminals. At the same time, we have people screaming that we, the public should give up our guns. How then are decent people supposed to find protection? The police, understandably, are reluctant to act, lest they kill some thief or robber and be arrested themselves. Without armed citizens, who then will protect us from the criminals? Is mankind suddenly going to change and become God-fearing?
