No wonder Stone Harbor has a huge skunk problem. I love cats, but they do not belong on the dunes and people need to stop feeding them or take the cats into their homes and feed them there. The wildlife is flourishing because of all these people who continue to violate the laws. The borough needs to have the police patrolling the dunes daily to stop the illegal feeding. If you see people feeding cats, call the police, or stop complaining about the skunks. No amount of trapping will ever stop the skunks if people continue to feed cats daily.
