I still do not understand why people are against background checks for gun ownership. The NRA has given senators hundreds of thousands of dollars to make them vote against gun control. Gun control does not mean you cannot own a gun, it means if you are a criminal or have mental issues you cannot own a gun. It can also mean you might have to wait a few days before owning a weapon. Please do not vote for a senator bought by the NRA!
