At a recent commissioners' meeting in Wildwood, the mayor commented about the flooding on Pacific Ave., and temporary measures in place to deal with the flooding which will assist with the reconstruction of Pacific Ave. My issue is how many times are they going to reconstruct Pacific Ave.? The street flooded in the 80s when heavy rains passed the area but the floods eventually retreated an hour or two later. We can live with this lifelong issue. Unless the demographics in the area are forced to leave the island, it will not be a safe area, sad but true.
