To the North Wildwood spouter supporting all the military vehicles recently acquired by the town: One needs to remember the long-term cost of storing and maintaining the equipment regardless if it was given free of charge. One also needs to remember we are a small, resort town with a small, winter population which did very well for decades with one multi-person military truck which was maybe put into use once every 10 years. I think this big rush before the next storm is blown out of proportion. Most of us have lived on the island for 50-plus years and we survived very well without the trucks.
