Munich, Germany, with a population of about a million, is bracing for up to 20,000 Syrian migrants to enter this month alone, which will seriously interfere with the annual Oktoberfest tourist activities. Yet, the mayor and citizens are welcoming the newcomers cheerfully, as opposed to leaders in other countries in Europe. Munich is showing the world its compassion for the less fortunate.
