Sixty years of beach and boat, and I have never even owned a pair of sunglasses and can't accept that lifeguards need polarized lenses to spot rip currents. My daddy taught me how to do that on the beach before polarized lenses were even popular. I have guarded beaches and pools, and navigated tough inlets for years without polarized lenses.
