The borough commission is thinking about putting more islands on Pacific Ave. I think it's a great idea for the pedestrians to cross in a safer way, but let's take into consideration the islands on New Jersey Ave. are terrible looking, with weeds growing out of control and that is only four islands. I don't think the borough can or wants to spend the money on more islands. The fertilization alone is thousands of dollars and paying public works to cut them is crazy. I believe that making Pacific Ave. two lanes with parking on both sides is the way to go.
