My husband was taken via ambulance this summer from Sea Isle to Cape Regional while I sat in the front, panicked for his life, only to wonder why the ambulance was going over the TI bridge? Sea Isle Causeway drama, I determined after his illness, only to wonder, Good Lord, I hope nobody needs an ambulance when the TI/Avalon bridge closes again, and that joke of a Causeway cluster mess continues for years!
