I live on 26th Street in Avalon and am appalled that another season has gone by and the town, once again, has not provided a handicap curb at the corner of 26th Street and Avalon Ave. The Diller Fisher Home for the Blind is on 26th Street. I watch these kids struggle with the curb and even go out into the street to get their beach cart onto the sidewalk. If any street should have full handicap access it is the street where blind and hearing-impaired kids use the street every day in the summer.
