Spoke to many of the natives on both sides of the Chesapeake many years ago who remembered the ferry boats, and they said that the connector ruined their areas with traffic and congestion. Can you imagine 24/7 traffic on the Parkway and other local roads such as Routes 9 and 47? The Cape May County peninsula is a treasure away from the maddening sounds of traffic. Let's not spoil a great situation!
