Less than three hours after the bike/truck fatality at 32nd and Dune, I observed four bike cops meandering north on Dune Dr. between 30th and 27th, four abreast, no red tail lights, carrying on a conversation. They went to two abreast when a car came, not single file. Why were they all together? Is there a crime wave on Dune Dr.? Are they even necessary? They could have been stopping the bikes on the boardwalk that endanger walkers at night. Guess it's do as we say, not as we do.
