Thank you to the amazing ocean lifeguards who patrol the beaches. These men and women don't get the credit they deserve. They stay in top physical shape all summer to respond to any emergency that may occur at the one place that everyone goes to the shore for; the beach. Yes, there are boardwalks, bars, hotels and restaurants; the true reason that these little towns are able to be what they are is because of the beaches, and the dedicated guardians that we are lucky to have. Thanks to all the lifeguards, and thanks to the lifeguard who gave a band-aid to my little girl.
