I take exception to the Avalon spouter's assertion that no one is born a bad guy. The nature versus nurture debate may never be resolved by psychiatrists and behaviors lists, and is probably too deep a debate for Spout Off. Most of my family, for generations, has grown around firearms and that proximity has not turned any of us, or our friends, into bad guys. There are more assault weapons per capita in Switzerland due to compulsory reserve service, but there is far less crime. Blaming firearms for moral laxity is bogus.
