National Night Out this year was great. Our grandchildren were visiting us and it was their last night. We all had a great time. The police and firefighters should be commended for their efforts. It also gave children the opportunity to interface with police and firefighters in a non-professional environment which, hopefully, if they ever have a problem, it will help them to approach professionals without fear.
