A good example to change the thumbs down feature is the spouter asking how to use the new parking meters here, and got numerous negatives. The person was not asking for anybody's opinion, but just how to use the meters here. Thumbs down shouldn't register without a link stating a reason, and I'm sure most readers feel the same way.
