A Wildwood pro-gun spouter did not answer the question: Would it be better if the servicemen were still alive because the "bad guy" couldn't get his hands on guns? If gun advocates answer "yes," they admit that we need stronger gun-control laws, such as universal background checks. "No" would confess a cavalier attitude toward the deaths of the servicemen and the 30,000+ citizens who die each year because of gun violence. The Wildwood spouter repeatedly harps on the notion of a gun ban. It's easy for anyone to understand: Denying guns to bad guys is not the same as a ban on guns.
