The spouter from Wildwood Crest posed some good questions about the rectory being remodeled at Assumption Church. I heard the excuse was the dogs! Fr. Hadyka, Fr. Field and Fr. Gus each had sweet dogs that were well trained. I always loved stopping in the rectory and seeing Fr. Hadyka's dog Penny! The nicest priests we've had had a dog. Dogs are man's best friend. Just clean the carpet like most families, no need to spend thousands of dollars. Was that the new parish administrator's fault? I agree with the spouter, makes no sense remodeling with an interior decorator.
